Ssoooooo, these are not mine. They're a friend of mine's. Vintage CH. He quite literally found them in his closet after a dozen or so years and remembered he had them. Alligator skin. Not worn very often.

Does anyone know who makes these and what model it is? I looked around the forums for a bit trying to find the info, but I didn't have any luck. I'm tempted to say EG, but I'm not sure.

It could easily be the Malvern but also something from Carmina... I'm sure EG can replicate it thought for a price.

Thanks guys! It is indeed the Malvern. Meister, The herring shoes you're referencing have the lower broguing on the vamp done in suede whereas with the EGs, it's in leather.

It's the Edward Green Malvern and it is a specific mockup made for sale by Brooks Brothers...you can buy them on the BB website.

a wide shoe, with black pebbled grain leather and big/wide welt.

can you help me with some suggestions?

grenson's triple welt collection are an obvious alternative, but i'd like to see others
