Hey friends here is the skin of my next Gladietor Bespoke Bestetti. It is French calf.

At the end I told Bestetti not finish my shape because I was still undecided on the tip. I did not know if it square or round. But in the end I will make the chisel tip. And how colors instead I kept the ones I had decided.

That cognac and whiskey. I look forward to the finished shape is to try the shoe test. So I can update on the developments.

And here is the final outcome ..... now sent me these pictures and I could not hold them all for me ... I wanted to show them ... what do you think?

After a polishing session last night. From the left: Meermin punched cap toe, tan country grain, Hiro-last. Alfred Sargent Hunt, Mahogany, 109-last. Antonio Meccariello, punched wholecut, antique burgundy, semi-bespoke soft square last.

Great work J nod[1].gif

Something almost cathartic, certainly comforting, in a Sunday shoe shine. Particularly when done as well as that!
