Personally, I think the Saphir products are worth it, but I'm sure many would disagree. While they are expensive, a little goes a long way, so while the up-front cost is high, the per use cost is low.

Their suede products are probably not worth it, although I still use them.

BTW I would remove the old polish and recondition before doing anything, and this is where I think the Saphir products are really superior. Just one opinion though.

Depends on what products you are using and what kind of shoes your putting it on, imo.
