Shoe Damage Report & Shoe P0rn Central - Part II - Page 1171

MC,

Awesomeness in spades.  Except the LV loafers and trainers.  Fucking hideous, all.  eBay is calling.

I can see you take good care of them too, and they all look like they get some wear.  Good stuff!  What's really catching my eye is that lovely selection of boots.  I'm intrigued by the chelsea/balmoral combo of which you have two - JL?  More boot details please, and thanks for sharing. :)

Sir, I know what you mean. But you see, I wanted slightly different brand of Moccasins as oppose to what I wear habitually and that is when the idea to add the LV moccasins to my collection was born. I could not resist the urge! Anyway, they came as a gift from my wife and I couldn't say no. You can be rest assured that when I rock them, they scream less LV brand whore because the rest of my outfit coordination is classic and the moccasins with the big LV logo engrave become less visible if not subtle to the eye of a reasonable man. Who then is a reasonable man? I guess, an answer for another day! LOL

They are 'BOWEN' from French boot makers ! smile.gif

I see why you can't lose the LV stuff, but instead maybe get some more loafers and quietly stop wearing those!

Thanks - they're very interesting.  I find shoes I can slip on quite handy (I live in an environment wear taking shoes off at some points during the day is often necessary), but chelsea boots to me are always a bit casual.  This is a really useful combination.  Any more info?

Edit: found the website, some cool designs although plenty of competition at that price.  But alas, the chelsea-balmoral seems to have been discontinued.

It's quite possible that this particular model has been discontinued because I bought those 8 years ago in France. At the time, their boutique was called Mansfield and they didn't even have an online website. They have got really interesting models from what I have seen so far on their online collection. smile.gif

Very nice, thanks for posting so many nice pics. The shoes seem to be well taken care of. How do you manage to care for so many pairs?

I was expecting the shoes to fit tight because it's so aggressive. Was in for a huge surprise. Bestetti modified the last such that the front is actually extremely comfortable given I have a wide forefoot (Could have gone a little smaller though. I think he overcompensated slightly, but it's not a deal-breaker). The arch-support was superb.

Here it is, compared with Vass' U last.

I saw this shoe born ... really fantastic ... beautiful the idea of the initial tip .... and in reality even more magical ... then that brown is really porn.

In a few days I'll show you my balmoral that has gone to makeup Bestetti. To start I chose a MTO.

I can not wait to take pictures and share them ... I'm just waiting for the courier knocks on my door.

Really? I do not know much Bontoni ... let me see your own shoe?

My next will be a bespoke shoe .... if it matches my needs I have found in my shoemaker Bestetti of confidence. Also because I have flat feet and bad!

Another modest purchase, but bringing my great joy - I've wanted these colours for a long time.
