I can never understand AE's desire to stitch all seems with like 400 rows of stitching. Same with brogueing. Always huge. I think it lends the false impression of "clunk".

2 row stitching is very common for cap toe oxfords, only the 3 row stitching for the vamp is quite unique, and the 360 degree welt also add to the bulk.

Just wanted to say the Grenson wholecuts look great. Something I love about wholecuts is the wear itself is what gives the shoe its style and character rather that deliberate patterns and seams and holes and such. It is the "raw denim" of shoes, imo.
