Only very briefly as I'm apprehensive about not being able to try them on. I live in HK so I generally stick to brands that are available here...same reason why Meermin is appealing but hard to pull the trigger

I'd rather read the most inane posts from these three than go through the mindless treacle that oozes on most (insert brand) appreciation threads. I visit Styleforum in order to learn and share, not for the snark or one-upmanship of conspicuous instakops. There are shoes and there are Footwear, just as there is helping guys out and merely typing for egos and bragging rights.

This.

Agreed. I rarely contribute because I am not especially knowledgeable but have learned a huge amount from certain posters here. If this thread was filled entirely with people using sexual metaphors to describe their reactions to double monk straps I would stay away.

And if Isshinryu's tastes don't conform to the bland #menswear norm then all the better.

I do understand your side of argument. But do take the 'risk' to get one, the price you are going to pay is not going to be less than Carmina or C&J in the Armory or Tassel. It is quiet safe to follow your usual C&J size.

I have done the same in U last, it works very well, and I am more impressed with the Vass than my C&J.

Good luck.
