You are one serious shoe-loving mutha, Jerry Browne.  Respect. And I'm almost as excited to see the pics as you are to get the shoes, I think.

Nice, cheaper alternative to the EG Sloane...

These definitely should have received more love here. Not exactly EG but very close. I am impressed. How does one purchase?

They are discontinued in the UK as far as I know.

Pretty sure they were in the initial line-up for the launch of the Imperial line.

They were also available in green. Sadly not available from the UK store any more. It's possible you may be able to get them from other stockists but I haven't checked...

Thanks for the info. I did a google search and came up with nothing. Would have thought these would be a great seller.

Nice ones, Uncle Mac! I'm stocking up on some Vintage Shell myself! These are late 1950's to early 1960's Hanovers.

Hi, just looking for advice about a pair of shoes I have. They're a fairly new pair of Loakes, I've probably polished them more times than I've worn them. I was out one wet day and they have picked up serious stains. The leather has risen in a ridge where it's gotten wet. I've never had this happen a pair of shoes before. Is there any way I can repair them?
