Thanks, they were brown brown when I bought them but I painted/dyed them green a few years ago for practise before paining/dyeing my EGs.

I'd polish right over that crack and keep on wearing them. They still look great.

So was all the patina/shading done by you as well?

Don't worry; I'll wear them till they fall appart, just not regularly or to formal occasions.
