Antonio25, over the years I've seen pictures of thousands of shoes -- I know a difference when I see one. Your shoes are sublime.

Question: why do so many people on this forum seem to have tiny feet?  Is there some demographic connection between little guys and an interest in elegance?  A kind of sartorial "short man syndrome"?  I was thinking the other the day reading the "what I'm wearing" thread, that there seem to be a lot of small skinny dudes.  Curious.

Do you have insecurities that subconsciously make you want to belittle others? Do you have a need to feel more manly? Curious.

Er, who, exactly, am I "belittling" by observing that a lot of members, i.e. style-conscious people, seem to have small feet or other sizes?  Maybe the insecurity is in equating that with some kind of masculine failing.  Do smaller guys generally dress better?  I don't know, just asking if anyone else noticed.

Anyway, sorry if that came across badly, and no offence intended to anyone.  Feel free to ask why guys of average height and above average waistlines, like good shoes.  I won't take it personally. ;)

These are gorgeous.  The natural welt and contrast stitching really set that colour off.

We'll just accept that you're socially inept and don't see how "short man syndrome" is not a compliment.

Yeah it was "a kind of" [specific] "..." in parenthesis, for a reason.  But I can see that might touch a nerve with some nevertheless.  Apology reiterated (and better I ignore the rest).

Can we get back to shoes now?  If you have something personal to say, put in in a PM, eh?
