Wow Swiss Yoox is so cheap compared to US Yoox for C&J

So the question is, how much did you overpay for RL?

^Ouch, you've just hit a home run. Someone at RL's must be snickering and rubbing palms as we type.

Namor: great job!  I mean, we all can name a few makers who supply RL, but when you compare apparently identical models like that, it really brings home what a waste of money "fashion" brands are!  It's great to have an example.

I wonder if you asked RL, whether they'd claim theirs are made to a different quality standard or with different materials?  Or just do a big demonic, sulphurous laugh as they kick you out of the door?

Different color.

Looking at them very closely I think the Lauren model might use the same pattern but might have a higher quality of leather and finish.

Amazing the markup, none the less.

Cheap indeed. Does anyone know if it is seconds they sell?

I am in Switzerland and sometimes compare the YOOX prices with other countries. Yes, most of the times it's a bit cheaper or same as in Italy (which is cheaper than in France or Germany).
But as it's shipped from Italy, and Switzerland is not in EU, I pay (for each order) minimum 25 euros shipment and 25 euros taxes.

They do not sell seconds, but a few years old anyway.

Thanks for the reply. Now I have just bought a pair of church's from yoox.com for 295 euro. It seems almost too good to be true, but I hope everything is fine.

If you like Church's, "Herring Shoes" (www.herringshoes.co.uk) have a clearance on the classic 73 last ranges.  Depending on your size, they may or may not have what you like, but they've a selection in most sizes (and wider fittings too), from what I've seen.  They're at £275, which is about 350 Euros.  They're nice people to deal with, don't over-charge for shipping (especially if you order more than one), and if you ask nicely they often throw in trees. ;)

Yes I know about Herring Shoes, but the model I like, The Lancaster, was not on sale, at least not in my size. Amazingly it was on yoox.
