Nice job!

I so wanted to like Church's. I really did. But they went the way Reebok did in my purchases and I will probably never own another pair.

Ishi, I urge to found a small shoe museum, be it virtual or inside your house. These fine vintage pairs are rare and will become rarer still as years wane on. Wearing them seems such waste as they will shatter in time.

I kind of feel the same response to his shoes. They are all so individually special as well as incredible condition.

Any size 11 you want to throw my way?:embar:

Thanks a lot for the compliments, gentlemen. Vintage shoes is certainly a learning process, but one that I've had a LOT of fun with. As with all things (when you're a 3x Dad), I've included my kids in the fun. My 7 year old daughter can ID just about any exotic leather I throw at her now.

As part of my vintage education, I do come across many pairs that don't necessarily fit me (although I only buy shoes at 'reasonable widths'- no A's & I almost always only post photos of my own pairs). PM me with the styles you like & I'll let you know when I come across something wonderful.

Quick recognition for my very good friend, Meister. He's been an unbelievable source of vintage shoe knowledge & a fellow shoe addict in whom I have found the Ultimate Enabler!

Thanks for the consideration!

As far as your daughter is concerned, it would be awesome if she somehow turned this early education and exposure into a livelihood in the future.

I'm just happy to spend time with her doing something besides just playing "Princesses". Although I AM a very beautiful princess!

He sold me a Bally Scribe - since then I have bought a Lobb, C&Js, Brooks Brothers (via Sargent), an AE - but no other shoe makes me so glad just to look at it in the morning and knowing I'm going to wear it.
