Must say I haven't noticed it. Maybe if I wore them with lightweight trousers it may become an issue...

I wear my pair almost exclusively with wool trousers and its becoming a pain. Its not unique to EG but it is a bit of a nuisance nonetheless. My pull tab can come out about 1/2 inch from the boot and sometimes I need to paperclip it overnight. 1st world problems (sigh)

Hem your pants longer so they bunch up like a gangsta. Nuisance gone. fight[1].gif

Maybe height plays a factor in this? I know I have less of an issue with higher boots (those almost up midway my leg) compared to this lower ones (e.g., Tricker's Stow, Alden).

I was at Bloomies about a year ago and saw a couple of gents doing the T Browne look... it defintiely does not work in real life. It does take away the problem since all his shoes have those little pull tab things.

I have an idea! Pull tab with a button! I so need to patent this! When I get a MTO from AS I am definitely going to ask Chay to try this out for me. icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

Hopefully this is the start of an obscene Spoo Spending Spree... where we get to live vicariously thru the pics.

Just got some Tan Plain Toes myself.

Yours as well. Dark Oak + Country grain or Mink Suede just makes an already special boot that much more noteworthy. What's impressed me most is the sleekness of the 82 last as a boot. The dainite sole is almost indistinguishable from double leather
