I think that's why some of thoss vintage shoes really had an elegance to them that you rarely see any longer. Both shoes above are really nice but take away some of the eyelets to the bontoni and it would not look as impressive.

agreed, although I'm sure we're in the minority here. I really enjoy 6 & 7 eyelet oxfords. Not so much on derbies, though.
