While the JL is obviously an excellent shoe, personally I've been VERY intrigued by the details of the G&G. They are definitely the "hot" rtw shoe on SF.

That's what I have been looking on alot. JL looks more simple and classic, while GG has that little extra for details, and for me that has a very small foot GG is a better alternative maybe?

Well I have a wider foot and G&G is a better alternative.

G&G has one of England's greatest last makers on side which is why they can produce shoes with such a fantastic range style options without compromising fit and comfort.

Anyway, G&G do have traditional lasts for those who prefer the "JL" look. Take a look at their GG06 last.

Not even close, you won't get the "JL look" with this last.

I don't really know what the JL look is anymore with all their wild styles.

DG70 is more JL 7000 than GG06.  GG06 is nice classic round toe.
