Thank you, it's good see the last as a whole cut. As it lets one really see the last without proportional distraction.

I just took a look. Great collection. And it looks like you take good care of them.

Many Thanks. When you get a PB compliment, you've done well.

Since I posted something traditional, I figured I'd post something fun.

Keeping with VRaivio's theme...

1940's Oxford Wingtip Ventilated Spectators.

**The right shoe had a small spot on the vamp that I later removed. Wish I had done it before the pics, but oh well.

What i don't know... and someone may be able to enlighten me...how come (when spades fell out of fashion post 1949) that J&M continue to make these right through to the 1990s? My 1990s pair I got from greekgeek had a barely distinguishable spade.

Isshi, what's up with your pair's u-throat construction? It seems as if someone just...dropped that piece there.

I got some reddish-brown laces with them (about the same shade as the sole), but haven't tried them yet. I'll try. I like the idea of that contrast, but maybe it will be too much for me. We're already talking about blue shoes with red soles smile.gif.
