Money Never Sleeps sartorial critique thread

Well the second Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps trailer was released and its apparant that some time and effort was put into the wardrobe. From the looks of it I doubt it will live up to the first one but some things appear to be quite nice. Here is Gekko in a nice looking summer suit:

Loose tie knot, and not in a good way, dissapointing:

Here is one of Shia, the tie knot looks to be a different pattern than the blade

Michael Douglas looks really f*@$ing great considering he was born in 1944, which makes him 66 on September 25th. Director Oliver Stone probably had Michael wear little or no make-up or hair dye. You'll also notice that 'Gordon Gekko' goes for a relaxed look, yet from these few photos, Gekko kicks baby-faced Shia Lebouf's butt for style. Without seeing the film at this point we don't really know if there are any other character/story explanations for the overall look of Gekko. I can't wait to see this film...

..just to count the wardrobe changes. I'll bet Michael looks fantastic for his age in real life. Happy Birthday Michael (for the 25th)

MD looks like George Soros in that first pic. Whoever was the wardrobe consultant pulled a fast one on them, you may not see one peak lapel in all of wall street.

There was a great article in the NYTimes with the costumer as to how they dressed Douglas for the movie. Fascinating stuff.

J/k, it was business attire, peak. I think I was the only one. Certainly the only one I noticed. Everything else was super conservative business dress to compensate.
