He does look older than 43, but blond, fair-skinned people often do look older when they have gotten a lot of sun exposure. I saw, for the first time after about one and a half years, this chick who works with my wife - she's fair-skinned and does a lot of surfing, but I didn't even recognize her because of how much she aged. It was shocking.
