Paraboot Avoriaz in suede can look very nice. I saw a pair in green suede at the Paraboot shop in Aoyama, Tokyo recently. They look nice in plain leather, too. The photo comes from Leather Soul.

^^ They have those at Pediwear as well. Again too chunky. I want the look of the hiking boot but refined enough to wear with odd pants.

The nicest Hiking Boots are from "Trabert." Stunning leather ("Russia Leather") , and the best quality you can get for hiking boots: Modell is named "Andechs"

No, but why is it so difficult for everyone to understand that I like the look ...

You guys go crazy over super pointy green shoes and yet cant understand that some people might like the hiking boot look

As I mentioned they seem to be in fashion these days with everyone from Cucinelli, RLPL, Belvest and Isaia showing them. And I like the look. I dont know why it has to be justified. Its an indulgence ...

I don't mind Wooster actually. I usually like his fits and don't quite get the hate. Of course, he's catering to the fashion trends of the moment but that's actually his job to do so. I think he does it pretty well overall, even though I wouldn't wear most of it myself (unless maybe I had his job, I guess)

The hiking boots on the other hand....
