Texture is a bigger issue than color for me there.

whats wrong with the texture? those looks like heavy cav twill

I don't think you can judge the texture very well from this picture. The color combination is fine for me. But, really, this is a question better suited to the Noodles thread.

Both the coat and the trousers are way too tight. It doesn't make sense to me that he's not wearing socks when he's wearing obviously heavier clothing. The whole thing looks like a caricature.

Truly dreadful looking garments. (In the parlance of @GBR) Not sure if this belongs here, but I will post anyways

Wouldn't the indigo rub off onto your shirt and such? FWIW, the top one looks awesome, imo. I'd just like it to be a bit less snug.

Denim suits are just awful...

Anyone wearing them must be shot.

Taking Canadian tuxedo too literally.

I'm not against denim for tailoring, but the apparel should at least have some nice casual details, like patch pockets or big-ass buttons. These two are something else.

The next logical step in fabrics for uncle Ralph will be tampon cotton. You know, for that extra fluffy protection, swag and sprprzztorture.

I genuinely love sartorial experiments with materials but I genuinely do not see the point of Denim suit...

It doesn't look good at all as a suit , SC and especially a 3 piece suit..

Says the person with multicolored shoes...

Perfect use of DB waistcoat and pocket watch.

And the pinned collar really pulls it all together.

It's so classic but also right now.
