I kinda doubt that.

Cut of the suit isn't anything special (but the collar hugs his neck well).

But it's tough to love the low contrast shirt - tie combo, especially when topped off by the pocket square non sequitur.

I do think WIll's a bit of a hit and miss sometimes. I appreciate Simon Crompton much more as far as non- #menswear go.

I agree on Crompton. His stuff almost always looks well cut and his color choices are much more to my liking.

There are a number of Internet-famous guys who dress a lot better but none of them writes a blog post per day.

The low-contrast tie isn't an everyday look, but I think he looks great here. The hank is no more a non sequitur than a colorful tie in that context.

FWIW, I also don't have an issue with the tie (ok, maybe a little more contrast would be nice), but I do not like the square--it just jumps out too much, especially given the rest of the outfit.

It could be intentional. Low contrast combinations frames his color the best. High contrast combo washes out his face.

The Armoury guys (and gals) looking great at Pitti84.

Seems like this year, Pitti is less clownish than before.

Ha, my favorite part is the t-shirt and shorts clad tourists in the background.

I'm liking Solaro less and less now...looks a bit muddy in that particular picture.

Solaro makes no sense to me.

Me neither, though I have never actually seen or touched the stuff. I hope it looks better in person, because in pictures, it looks like something a 70s gigolo would wear.

It just is hokey-nonsence. Can't imagine it is cool at all.

Solaro looks and feels terrific in person. The only place where I have heard that it is supposed to be "cool" is on the internet.

Fucking internet. Some bullshit about the red fibers reflecting the sun. rolleyes.gif
