Doesn't flatter him I think. You can't judge a shoulder style on its own. He looks like an old bag with a round back. Maybe some padding would flatter him more. But then, he of course deliberately chose this style, to each his own.

This is actually about as restrained as Santo Barilla gets.  I like to call him "Pitti the clown".  Remember this picture?

I believe he had a car racing accident that practically shattered a leg when he was young. Perhaps that's the reason for the strange looking boot?
