sugarbutch, now that you mention it, I had another look and you may be right. Leave it to Sir Winston to meta-dress in two nearly identical stripes, even Nickelson hasn't come up yet with this X-level stuff. Maybe we'll see reflections of this at the next Pitti.

Very early in US participation on WorldWar 2. The officers are wearing the "new" M1 helmet, but still wear riding boots and jodpurs. General Patton was distinctive in continuing to wear cavalry gear throughout the war.

Brunello Cucinelli has uploaded all his catalogs on the website. I've heard people calling him epigonos in respect to Loro Piana, but his stuff is pretty good in quality and catalogs have some script behind them. They are pretty inspiring, if you ask me.

While I like the look of BC in general, I have to disagree about quality. Every single BC sweater I have has developed holes under the arms and those that have zippers, now have broken zippers.

I forgot to add reservations about quality. On my BC vest I have both of the leather pull tabs broken/unglued and thus missing. BC pants developed rips in the front pockets. NOt sure if its overall quality or durability of the materials. I am not benign with pants/zippers.
Leather jacket is fine so far.

I like BC pants, and so far mine have held up well. I bought a winter ski jacket but returned it because of fit issues and concerns about the quality of some of its details.

Come to think about it...it doesn't worth the retail price at all. even half the retail.

This is the decision I came to about the coat. The coat was still quite a bit at 60% off, but still not worth the price given the fit and other issues that concerned me.

I agree. When the line was first introduced, it seemed to be on par with Loro Piana, price wise. It seems to have crept up into GTFO territory. I'd never buy it at retail, or even on sale for the most part.
