All this stuff looks way too tight - I think people will look back and wonder what the hell people were thinking...

Modern time? Slim-fit is nice. Don't you think they think iPad is pretty weird to?

It always swings between both ends of the spectrum, from tight silhouette to loose, or from pointing/elongated lasts to knocked off square lasts.

Your Rubinacci will look dated in 20 years for sure; hopefully still well fitted, but will for sure be dated.

I hear what you're saying but it's not an apples to apples comparison when you take rock stars and compare them to a regular guy. Rock stars have worn tight clothing (especially pants) to exude cool for generations. It works for them and always has. Whether the clothing is cut with the intention of being worn too tight or very boxy or just right, it almost doesnt matter. they're rock stars and they use their rock star gravitas to pull it off.

Many of these other guys look like they are wearing suits that are too tight and to get straight to the point, they aren't pulling it off. They look uncomfortable & self conscious and it shows.

Black?

Look, the tightness thing with clothes is such a fucking ridiculously simple thing: If the clothes make tug lines--IE, do not lie flat, etc--then they are too tight (or, perhaps, ill cut). I think you can go as thin, as you want to, as long as things don't pull, and aren't thinner than your actual proportions (IE, wearing 31" trousers, when you are a 32").
