well, we all have different tastes but if you look at the thighs of his pants, the buttoning point on the jacket, he looks like a sausage and this is a guy that is probably in good shape. I will never understand sneakers with a suit, the old Kiton boutique manager in NYC Luigi swore by this look and I thought he always looked awful. If you want to wear sneakers and a suit, the suit should probably not be a classic worsted type of suit, maybe a linen or some funky fabric. The combo with the green sneakers and purple pants is bizzare.

I think a lot of people are drinking from the blogosphere kool aid, rather than develop their own style. Classic menswear is classic for a reason. I think when a lot of these guys look back a few years from now at their pics, they are going to say 'WTF was I thinking?".

Translation:

Sneakers with a suit looks fucking terrible.

And i agree on him on that subject, that guy is a clear idiot for wearing sneakers under his suit.

Who is the guy wearing the sneakers?

Edit: Maybe he wears them only at home instead of velvet slippers, they are more comfortable that's for sure.

Patrick Johnson of PJ Tailors. Does some great work.

Leading light of tailored clothing in Australia = clear idiot

Take it down a notch, Achillus.

I don't know why he gets so much love. Most of his stuff looks too tight on people. After Phat Guido changed his initial silhouette with him his suits began to look a lot better, imo.

I'm not that into his default silhouette, but calling him a clear idiot is laughable.

You should post up a comparison photo.

Fashion is not always about boring ass "rules" as dictated on SF,  often times by closed minded folks who think they look like the prince of wales, but really look like your grandfather.

Not saying this guys look is "correct". but who really cares? Doubt that is what the guy was after.

I remember seeing the Kiton guy in GQ or something like that a few years ago and thinking, "This guy manages a store selling $7000 jackets?". I was bewildered.

A comparison photo of what.

Also fashion is just a collection of synonyms to describe a way of clothing gestation, either way you are even aloud to wear skirts, not that we would care. There are certain things people should never wear, suits with sneakers are one of them. You may like it and that would be fine, but don't describe fallacies about people being close minded when they don't share the same opinion about a subject.
