I think what PB is saying is that these pictures that vendors post are essentially advertising. And he doesn't like the idea that we praise their ads, particularly if they don't really look or smell like advertising, but rather like "content".

Exactly. In general I am much more impressed with "real" people who have style. While these guys are mannequins for their stuff, whether that stuff is good or bad I just feel less inspired by it.
Utterly defensible take on this phenomenon, pB, but I think Desu's body type makes him something of an exception. He does a great job demonstrating that the lack of a model's body is no excuse to dress like a slob.
