I absolutely loved how at the start of the series you hate his guts and think he's a horrible villain and then he becomes the greatest character and you absolutely fall in love with him.

Yeah, classic anti-hero. You identify with Swearengen so much more than the douchebag hero Bullock, who I also liked though. Rambo, seriously, never seen it.

Even with the budget-abbreviated second season, I'm a huge fan of Rome. Lucius Vorenus and Titus Pullo are great characters.

Loved Deadwood, but I still don't really understand everything that happened in the latter half of the third season. Sad to see such a show go out on a whimper, too.

Then rejoice, they are working on a Rome motion picture revolving around Pullo and Vorenus after the defeat of Antony. Yes, they decided to allow Vorenus to pull through from his injuries in Egypt.

I love Deadwood, it's definitely one of my all time favorite shows. I catch myself watching it quite often. Some of the best writing period and the entire cast was nothing short of brilliant.

One of my favortie scenes is when the reverend is staying in one of the whores rooms at the Gem and Al ends his suffering. One of the few times when you see a real human side to him. The episode when Al is bed bound with kidney stones kills me. I've never had kidney stones but I can definitely feel his pain thru my tv screen.

I loved Rome and The Wire as well. I hope they don't end up ending Boardwalk Empire too soon (as long as the quality of the writing keeps up).
