Did anyone else notice that Ben and Cam go to Jean Shop in the 2nd episode? This is surreal

Only a matter of time till the season is almost over and GQ and Esquire do a full section of an issue about the show, the brands they talk about, the "americana/heritage" look and how to recreate the looks on the show and from the brands.

And then what? Where does SF go from there? What's gonna be the next big thing? (these are mostly rhetorical questions) Edit: IIRC GQ already did a feature on the whole Americana trend for FW09 or something like that.

And when How to Make It in America becomes an SF affiliate? With a pinned link to discussion and TV listings? What then??????

I don't really get the hate, watched the first couple episodes and it seemed OK. I'm sure many labels have started out almost as clueless as the two dudes on the show...

Boot cuts from selvage? show me how?

So the show's good? I think they're getting lower than expected ratings because the title of the show is so terrible.

Its no prize winner of a show but for some reason it intrigues me.
You're just being facetious right? A ton of brands have bootcut selvage denim The AE ones are actually "slim straights", the bootcut part was just hyperbole. Regardless, its AE

See 5EP LDB.
See Crate James.

All the width at the hem comes from the inseam, while the outseam remains straight.
