I'm looking for a classic style of sunglasses to wear with a suit. I love the Outdoorsman II, but as a student £210 is a bit steep for me. Can anyone recommend a similar looking product at a better price? Or care to share their ideas on how sunglasses should be matched to suits?

Real sunglasses run cable behind the ears so they don't fall off your head. Go with the original Outdoorsman.

Agreed on the wire temples, but just google for a better price - I just got a pair for $80 out of NYC.

I prefer silver or black frames if they're to be worn with a suit, unless perhaps it's with a tan coloured suit.

As for the sunglasses, shop around. Unless you're really going to be spending excessive amounts of time outside and staring into the sun, they're mainly about fit and look, rather than actual quality, so if you find cheaper shades that mirror that style, then you might be in luck.

I wouldn't recommend buying dirt cheap 'pharmacy' sunglasses, but you don't need to wear Ray-Ban's to get a decent pair.

It's been cited to death, but because it looks so good, it's worth citing again (though these can just as easily be randolph or american optic, or different but even rayban caravan if you want):

edit: and if you want the wrap around cables, you can get them in those to.
