Yeah, I agree completely but you also wouldn't want to do it in public. What if someone interrupted the act or called the paramedics to intervene before whatever method used served its intended purpose? I'd really rather not discuss this in this thread. Seams disrespectful. If you would like to continue this conversation in another thread, I'll certainly chime in. Sorry to everyone for going off topic in such a tasteless way, the only point I wanted to make is that this might not be suicide based just on the article posted.

Man this is sad. I was hoping that he was going to be found alive with a reasonable explanation for his disappearance, but usually when someone gives away their belongings for free it's a pretty clear indicator of things to come.

This is horrible news.

He was a genuinely kind man.

Sorry for your loss, YA.

Just saw the news on Yahoo, Vancouver police have confirmed it really was suicide in a wooded, isolated part of the park. Horrible for the family. A suicide can often times be more traumatic than a homicide for close friends and relatives. I had sincerely hoped that wasn't the case.

I was hoping that it was not going to turn out this way. The news conference that Walter Koenig was heartbreaking. Never Not Funny just wont be the same now. What a horrible loss for the Koenig family and friends.
