I know that Rain trained with Gym Jones which is pretty similar to crossfit for Ninja Assassin. And some dude from Twilight is a crossfitter. Not sure what Christian Bale's training regimen was for American Psycho or any of the fitness model guys.

I'll second Crossfit. There's a lot of controversy over getting certified in Crossfit, and such, but the training itself is hardcore. When I use to do Crossfit and rockclimb I was the leanest, and strongest I've ever been.

At my strongest I could do 15 Muscle-ups (pull-up into a dip on rings). I also looked incredibly fit (now... not so much). Anyway these are muscle-ups:

I'd try out some of the Crossfit workouts.. when I began I couldn't do some of them, but after a while I got the hang of it.

Gotta love broscience! Can anyone point to a legitimate study that discusses muscle building? And by legitimate, I mean something done by someone other than a nutritional company.

I gave the formula above. Add a toadstool or faun's tress as needed.

While there is an abundance of basic research, there has been very little applied research in this area. Most of it has been focused on elderly and those with wasting diseases. Most sports physiology research cover functional attributes such as speed and strength rather than muscle gain.

brosef dats da stuff true broscience.... still go do some deadlifts... if you can not do the dead lifts there is no point in being alive. still biochemically you can build up muscle and fat at the same time and get bulk then go on a atkins type diet where you'll go into a state of ketosis and utilize the fat stores. its totally possible but total torture because you'll be working out with no carbs for good 2-3weeks. Afterwards its still a controlled low carb diet basically forever... still torture diet wise.
