I'm a big fan of olives, that might be why. I could eat a whole jar of olives in one sitting, used to do it as a kid all the time.

Is Durian why the store I went into the other day smelled like poop?

Not nearly as exotic to us Westerners as some of the Asian stuff but I guess I'd say beef cheeks (nasty, like beef flavored jam), jellyfish "noodles", and iguana. The iguana was tasty in a soup but the vertabrae were a bit nasty.

Had all the classics, chickens feet, duck's neck, bulls penis, hundred year eggs, and recently in Istanbul Kokorec, a kebab made from yards and yards of lamb intestine wrapped around a skewer and grilled.

grew up eating balut but haven't had one in ages, by choice. back then I'd eat it only if the duck's still an embryo: and not a fetus when its beaks and bones are starting to grow

We should start a championship tournament to determine the Gross Food King. I have a feeling balut would win.

worm -vs- balut : balut winner
bug -vs- balut: balut winner

Chicken heart doesn't sound super weird. I love beef hearts so much, my Peruvian girlfriend turned me on to them so so good. Balut looks gross as fuck, but also now something I MUST eat before I die :P Just to say I have.
