Also, it kind've, suggests a lack of confidence? In what they're, like, saying? Like the infuriating upspeak/AQI so frequent with the young, and not so, like? It's kind've a fucking annoyance. Even well-educated and intelligent people can be heard using these phrases.

BTW "like" isn't just restricted to those under 25. I've seen a few "older" people (say 35) use it too; rare but it has happened.
