Both blow away the Maserati interior by a wide margin, for the reasons I discussed above. Hell, even the current S-class interior looks better, and the present model is ready for an overhaul next year:
The biggest deficit for the Maserati is the clumsy use of wood. Each of these German interiors integrate wood into their surrounding forms much more harmoniously. In the Quattroporte, the wood is placed like an afterthought--merely for the sake of adding "luxury."

) that being said, there are few things in the world less meaningful to me than luxury car interiors....
