TMJ was adjusted during that treatment (did I say that a "BACK" adjustment would do it?)...all I know is that it worked for me, placebo or not.

I'm not saying the chiropractor didn't help either, I just think it's important to know anatomy and acknowledge that it very well may have been placebo. If you're ok with that and the money was well-spent in your opinion, I say it was a successful treatment.

Dryness this time of yr can also be a cause if its not stress or sleep-related. I get it from time to time every winter. Heaters, dry Santa Ana winds here in CA, etc. My opthamologist told me to use over the counter drops and voila, no twitches.

Can also be caused by too much caffeine

JBG, I'm saying that the chiropractor did not help. The facial nerve, which innervates the orbicularis oculi m. exits well behind you TMJ/mandibular ramus. It courses superficially, through the parotid, not through or next to your TMJ. As anon has already stated, cranial nerve III is way up in your head, no where near your TMJ or spine. Furthermore, eye twitching is more associated with lack of sleep, stress, excess caffeine, etc. I looked it up and couldn't find anything that mentioned pitched or compressed nerves. I'm pretty sure that your chiropractor was not the reason for your eye twitch subsiding. I cannot think of any mechanism (other than placebo) how it could have helped.

All I offered was what happened to me. If it was a placebo effect - fine.

You bet. No worries.

Cut down on your sugar/alcohol/caffeine intake.

I had this recently; a friend suggested some vitamin B supplements including b12. Cleared it right up..

I've had extremely stressful jobs that caused eye twitch. I leave those jobs and the eye twitch is left behind with those jobs.

Sometimes I get that when I'm stressed or lacking sleep. It goes away on its own though.

Disclose all of your dishonesty, and immediately cease all deception and lying, and the twitching will cease.

I had this for a few months. It was stress-related. It went away eventually.
