I cannot recommend Bodileys and Sarah highly enough. This is kind of heresy on SF but even if Pediwear is slightly cheaper, it is well-worth dealing with Bodileys just for their service and helpful attitude.

I definitely second this. Sarah has been extremely pleasant to deal with and very helpful: great attitude, extremely attentive to emails, frequent order updates, etc. FYI she has informed me that they will soon start offering Alfred Sarget shoes once they get their website updated. fing02[1].gif

Yes.

I just order a pair of Crockett & Jones Selbourne Chestnut sz: 8E UK and Sarah Dudley told me that the next set of orders for Crockett & Jones shoes will not be until July. The shoes are $795 shipped to RI from C&J in New York and are about $623 (413 pounds) at Bodileys. To save almost $200 is worth the wait since I don't plan on wearing them any time soon.

I never seem to get a reply from them. Relative to other retailers their shoes are pricey.

Fantastic experience with them. Sarah is very responsive and does a great job.

Excellent service, have spoken with both Mike and Sarah - I've just relocated from the UK to NYC and was so traumatised about the transistion that I decided to buy 3 pairs of Bodiley's own range which arrived next day to my NY apartment after confirming the order with Sarah! You don't even get this fast back in the UK...

I'm awaiting B.Nelson to fit metal toes plates before I can start tearing the sidewalks apart biggrin.gif

Bodileys Manton and a hideous carpet:

Seriously, these are so much more beautiful than I expected and than the £245 price would lead you to believe. Sarah at Bodileys handled my order and was a pleasure to deal with. The Bodileys range are made for them by Cheaney, as you may know, and Sarah informed me that they were introduced to fill in the shortage in C&J stock, which is why many of the styles resemble C&J models, for instance the Manton above is modeled after the C&J Sydney. She also assured me that the low price point is not indicative of quality—and I vouch that the quality is top notch—but rather that the price is discounted 20% at present to make room for new end-of-year stock and will go back up thereafter and with the launch of their new website.

Sarah handled my Alfred Sargent Milton directly as well, great service.

I'm sorry I have to disagree with some of points being made regarding customer service.

Firstly when I ordered a pair of Suede Manton the website clearly stated that they were in stock, however I soon received an email from Sarah with apologies that the the shoes were not in stock.

Sarah stated that she will email me when the next available size was in .....

8 months later and still no reply, so in my opinion, I cannot comment on the quality of their shoes, but with regard to re-stocking shoes and notifying customers, not very good at all.

Websites should be monitored and stock checked on a daily basis, thus avoiding any disappointed customers.
