Not once did they pay a tribute to huge South Asian and Chinese communities, nor to James Cook nor the Pacific Railway. The part that supposedly represented BC's history had a bunch of people on snowboards (I kid you not) on a harness facing vertically on some column with a bunch of lights flashing.
Ironically, the only part that could have genuinely represented involvement from the Native community in Canada's history as a Nation was the Prairies segment (Métis), and instead they had an Aryan boy with earrings on a harness.
I thought the entire intro was about aboriginals. I agree regarding the inukshuk.
