I remember when this guy used to post a lot. It was great. He would post photos with terrible fits like this and then get super aggravated whenever anyone tried to criticize him. He claimed that his personal style was great and he got many compliments whenever he wore clothes like this and that they fit perfectly. I seem to remember he loved massive, and I mean ridiculously massive tie knots. Im pretty sure I remember him doubling his ties to make the knots even bigger actually. If you can find the thread you wont be able to un-see some of what is contained within.

WHOA, hold on a sec, are you saying this guy was an SF member? Granted, I only joined recently, but I have been a lurker in these forums for a while. How in the world did I miss this? Until today, I thought this was the only public picture of this individual (I found it out in the nether regions of the interweb). I will commence furious searching for now I must know the whole story.

How is that tie and knot even possible? Where does such a thing come from?

Well the first picture I posted is kinda creepy looking. But seeing more of who this epic figure of awesomeness actually is, I agree. In fact, I give him props for marching to his own drum. It isn't my cup of tea and I can't figure out the physics of what is going on with those ties, but he certainly can't be accused of bland or boring clothes.

I think someone posted on here a while back that this was the result of a record-setting number of ties worn at once.

Excuse my ignorance, but how can more than one tie be worn at once?

Good question. I assume, only with great difficulty. A better question, though, is, "Why?"

The only answer to why, as far as I can tell, is so that one can have a tie knot with enough mass to distort the orbit of our planet. The question as to how such a knot is achieved is still blowing my mind. I wish mt_spiffy! would sign in and post some pictures of how he does it.

spiffy is/was awesome. He posted an update on his life not so long ago (maybe about a year or so, I think). Sure, his taste in clothes might be a bit wacky, but he always struck me as a good humoured guy. Funny, but not one for the "creepy" thread IMO.

Spiffy is a good man. Not creepy.
