Looking to take the old lady somewhere, price is not an issue. I want somewhere upscale.... , dress code, that kinda stuff.

Strip House, if you can get in...old school steak house, she will like it if she is a "Mad Men" fan, good steaks...good wine....this is a "price is not an issue" suggestion.

Love Nobu, but gotta be booked way in advance. What about Nobu Next Door? Girls seem to dig that place.

I'm 100% certain that it has been booked for weeks, but you should have tried to get in at Corton.

V-day is for small timers. Big timers go out for V-day on the 13th.

Feb 13 has just as many reservations as Feb 14, because everybody thinks they're going to "outsmart" all the people going out on Vday.

Nobu Next Door doesn't take reservations (unless their policy has changed) so you might want to check them out.
