John Mayer

Anyone read the John Mayer playboy article? Wondering what everyone thought.

I never really would have guessed that about Jessica Simpson myself, for whatever reason.

Here's a recap.

+1

Nothing new here; at the very least he's becoming an even bigger douchebag and a lousier human being. I wonder when the backlash will start.

It looks like the author, threw out everything with any semblance of normalcy and printed all of the awkward and strange moments of the interview. John Mayer is weird, but I refuse to believe he's this weird.

I think this is what he wants. He does this every so often; it's his brand of (douchey) self promotion. It's hard to imagine that this article releasing right around the start of a North American tour is purely coincidence.

The racial stuff made me LOL. I talked to some umm africans-amer...er, I mean colored black guys on the bus this morining and they said thanks to Mayer it was no longer a nigger pass, theyre going with Mayer pass from now on.

I'm not a fan either.

The only time I can tolerate his music is when he does blues.

I have no idea how the likes of B.B. King and Eric Clapton can stand this guy.

He can play blues guitar well. Really well. But nobody can play like B.B. I had the great fortune of seeing B.B. King perform live when I was 8.

^ He has talent, no doubt. It probably helps that Mayer is on his best behaviour when he's around them. Crossroads performances serve as a pretty good example of this. And lucky you! I've yet to see anyone of King's calibre perform live.

I was in New Orleans one year, happened to wander into the House of Blues, and lo and behold, the man himself was playing there that night. Although I don't remember much of that evening, the image of him on state is forever etched in my mind. (Actually, I do remember that Shannon Daugherty was in front of me in a line for beer. Hawt!!) BTW, read the playboy article. The douchebag spent most of the interview talking about pron and masturbation. What a class act.
