Uniqlo vs H&M - Page 2

Uniqlo is better than H&M and cheaper considering the quality. They sell $10 ties and $100 blazers. It's nothing great, but it's worth the prices. I don't like their slim fit jeans. The rise is much too short for my liking and some come with crease marks on the front. Yuck. Thier polo shirts are also terrible imo.

Honestly, I recently bought a sport coat from them and I'm slightly regretting it. Still, it fits better than any other straight-OTR sportcoat I've ever tried on. It just looks cheaper than I like. Heck, I paid $100 so what do I expect. Their +U line is slightly better but I'm not paying more than $100 for a sport coat from Uniqlo.

Seriously? I've gone looking in Zara many times but have never bought anything other than a t-shirt. Everything else there has looked and felt awful close up - worse than H&M and much worse than Uniqlo.

I have no idea what Zara stock is like in the US, but in Europe it's pretty reasonable, and definitely a step up from Uniqlo/H&M. YMMV, of course.

So the hierarchy IME goes something like: Massimo Dutti >>> Zara >> Uniqlo = GAP > H&M = Topman.

Uniqlo (No locations) = H&M (everywhere) > Zara (crap)

i like Uniqlo very much for: T-shirts, sport socks, workout clothes, and cheap polos and shorts.
