I am probably the only person on earth who picked Japan to advance. I am very happy if this holds up.

That was a long time ago. Now mostly we are just a bunsh of pussies, who really cant make a simple decision without the state being involved. unly once in a blue moon, waking up and remembering that we are not only free individuals but also somewhat related to the vikings of yesteryears... But that is usually out of spite and selfloathing...

My numbers come from city census data available online. The numbers are only as misleading as any other racial demographic data to be found in census information. Which, by the way is pretty much the only data available. In other words, Hispanic doesn't neccesarily mean you are or aren't white. Which is why I listed the number for "whites" and not Hispanics. Its a more appropriate benchmark. A larger portion of L.A., according to census data consider themselves "white".

Seattle is still well above the national average in this category. And we lead the nation in multiethnic/multiracial people.

Just to beat this dead horse back to life, I wanted to add that census info for the city of Los Angeles doesn't really address what Shell originally might have meant when referring to LA. Greater LA contains a number of smaller cities that are divided up with invisible lines and truly make up the whole of "LA." Uou should probably look at larger numbers when considering the local "diversity." I believe the city of Carson is considered the most diverse city in the nation, for instance.
