Argentina is back in the game, but they still got the terrible coach.

Haven't seen him enough to comment on his strategies and tactics, but he is hella fun to watch. Argentina is my #3 team this tournament (#1 USA, #2 any African squad).

Because David Villa is arguably better (higher goal-to-cap ratio by a lot) and because Spain's playing a 4-2-3-1 and thus they'll only play one striker.

Spain didn't lose b/c Torres didn't play--they lost because they didn't move into open space aggressively.

I'm not saying have him in there over David Villa at all. Torres subbed for Busquets last game (CM) with Villa still in the lineup (albeit briefly). Didn't get to watch the second half so don't know how they shifted the lineup around on the pitch. With Villa starting at LF, why not put Torres at RF in place of David Silva? That way you have both David Villa and Torres out there together.

3. Thierry Henry - Why is he not starting? Yeah he's older and not what he was and he didn't start for Barca, but he's still a game changer with a ton of experience. Perhaps change the formation up and get him in there alongside Ribery instead of Diaby, Govou, et al. With France in disarray, I'd think a guy like him who could lead the squad would be what you'd want on the pitch.

Torres is just recovering from an injury and Henry's hardly played this year.

He was quite handy.

But seriously, the frogs aren't quite up to par.

France is going home early this tournament. Bloody shame considering it's the last outing for the likes of Henry.
