The only good thing about it was every month or so there'd be a reason to try and peg someone with them like they were water balloons. But they were really hard to break. We'd end up cutting one open a little but so it would break better on impact.

These are a little larger.

how odd.

How are these sold? I mean, do they just pile the bags on top of each other? Or do they come in a box? They should have a hole on the top so you can hang it like a banana bag

Ah Beatrice Milk in a bag! I miss TO.

As said before the milk in a bag seems to be an East of Manitoba thing. I grew up in BC with plastic jugs, is it done in Quebec and the Maritimes too?

Central Europe uses bagged milk, but it's becoming less common especially in the metropolitan areas.

why not sell soda in a bag? or apple juice? Seems like the pitcher industry is in cahoots with the milk industry

bag+pitcher=hard plastic jug

Ditto- It fit in a bin in the fridge, inserted into a tap/dispenser.

Growing up in Edmonton I had bagged milk delivered to my house when I was in kindergarden. I remember in junior high one kid who's father was actually a milkman. I wonder if he still has a job...
