How do you clean the inside of the nose after blowing your nose?

So I've got a bad cold and am thinking about serious cold related issues.

I see people blowing noses all the time, to clear all that stuffed up junk.

I'm curious what you all do with the deeper stuff on the inside of the nose.

Do you go after it with your finger? Leave it be?

when you're in a hot shower do the "farmers blow" after about 10 min inside. repeat with each nostril until clear. it loosens up the hard snot and sometimes a small jellyfish pops out.

this happens during the 1st 10min of swimming in a hot pool too.

This. But never in public. Find a restroom.

Wait, are you blowing your nose in swimming pools?

no but just swimming around a warm pool will loosen up the hard snot...

so sometimes you will sneeze and not notice the dislodged loosened snot sticking to your eyebrow(s)..

This also works when running, for some strange reason. I've been known to dislodge a few brain cells via snot-rocket.

Jesus, and I thought the 4 year old water boarding was the most horrific story of the day.

Why is it necessary to get every bit of snot out of your nose? It's not hurting anything being in there... If anything it's preventing dust from getting in there.
