I'd be more concerned with the shape of my stool..

Good point and I'd say the first 3 are more apt to be sinkers

My number fours always float. My threes are often leaners --the aft end pokes out above the water line while the fore rests on the bottom of the bowl. Why do you think that is?

The real healthy body signs question is not float or sink, but sink or swim. If it sinks fine. If it starts swimming around the tank you have problems.
