That picture is making me reconsider the old belief about not mixing button-down collars and DB jackets. Looks sharp.

Thought that might be the case, as it bears a striking resemblance to the 4x2 DB odd jacket in cream linen she's doing for me now icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

Unfused collar, 3 layers overall. Collar Shell is a 2/80 x 40 Twill by Getzner. Not technically an OCBD as the 'O' is missing :)

Classic OCBD

The fabric is classic 2-ply oxford from Italian Brembana. Unfused collar, lined with the warzone oxford, the natural roll reminds of the past.

Not oxford cloth but probably the nicest roll I've ever seen:

I like this one from the film A Streetcar Named Desire.

Beautiful fabric! Is this one of your bespoke shirts? If not, where did you buy it?

Here's an example of a collar roll from Freddy Vandecasteele. He uses a very soft interlining. I'm very pleased with it.

That is indeed a pretty awesome collar roll icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

What do you guys think about these collars?

Which is preferable? And what's an optimal length?
