What was the point of writing this? Breast pockets are standard on men's jackets. Most everyone knows this.

I usually wear it without. And with jeans, like this:

Menco Nieuwenhuis. I have several 'suppliers'.

I like variety. Sometimes patch, sometimes flaps with TP. I don't think I would do flaps with TP on spring/summer jackets, but I don't follow stringent rules; I just imagine what looks best on the type of jacket and fabric I choose.

That is very similar to how I intend to wear. Undecided between a RLPL full cashmere which is available for 600 USD and a custom made in wool which would cost around 800 USD in India. Of course I can specify what pockets I want in the custom made one while I am stuck with ticket pockets in the RLPL one.

I would assume that you just found the point of Bill's post. It's just a pocket on a coat.

That is how I wear mine quite often (RLPL silk/cashmere blend w/ ticket pocket). Jeans, bluchers, button down collar.
