What haircut would look good on me?

Thinking about getting fade...maybe a half inch shorter (they need to cut it to blend it) and a little peach fuzz-ish on the sides. I hate how you can see the back of my hair (where you get lined up at the bottom) in the mirror. Also, any tips on how to get my hair soft? I usually put a beanie on to get the frizz out....but it's always dry, even with tresemme

I got it a little shorter than I wanted, but I'm too active to have longer hair
