I was there in January 2008 for a sales meeting. We never left the property (some Marriott out on the edge of town) except to go hiking up a Volcano and then zip-lining somewhere in the forest -- good fun. The coffee at the hotel and out at some cafe in the forest was good too.
An interesting fact is that prostitution is legal and most of the "vacationers" in the hotel were men who looked like they would be lucky to have a wife or girlfriend back home.

just in town for a day, but I'll have a free afternoon. how far from town was the hike/zip line?
