If I'm not mistaken Vass size 42 is more like US 9-9.5?

Not familiar with the 3636 last, but the description praises it's width - so I would assume it is at least a US 9, maybe even a 9 E. IIRC that is SF member Tombrone - very helpful with sizing so shoot him a PM if you're interested/curious.
